You are right, we grow and change and are allowed to have regrets. And one's 20s and early 30s are often hard--you're still trying to find financial footing sometimes, people don't commit to relationships early (how many men propose to women in their 20s?) However, a positive thing about this day and age is that, especially at your age, if you think you might want children, there are so many ways, even if they're expensive and difficult decisions in themselves. You can adopt an embryo and carry it, for instance. Funding? Perhaps your insurance covers it, perhaps you start a Gofundme. If you don't have kids, that means you have more love to give to the world. I have so many respect for the aunts in my life, and the ones who stepped in to help my mom as a kid when her own mother died young.
