This is beautiful. I got a lump in my throat. What happened only showed you that you made the right choice to be careful (what if your whole family had gotten it), but that doesn't mean anything at all about this situation was fair or kind or right. I am so glad you got to talk to him about what he meant to you, before he was gone. So many are still suffering right now. There isn't a normal, only a new normal. Thank you for sharing this story.
