It takes a long time for us to realize just how much society wants us to sand down our edges to fit into the same old holes. Instead of getting better, we're supposed to shrink, be "the chill girl." (I've written about this too.) Like you, I could never stay silent on important issues. That's not being political, it's being human. Please keep sharing your voice.
