I have often wondered how parents can ever overcome the sadness and loss of a child, and known inside that there is really no way, only to go on living and spread the love in your heart. Seeing the others continue to grow up, the changes around, must be so hard. I'm glad she got to live most of her childhood but that doesn't make it any easier or fair. As a parent I also know I'd remember every little mistake I made, but also the small but beautiful times, knowing all of our lives are fragile and it's often just like why one survives and another does not. Sending love.
