Apps do ask weight, or body type, and photos show a lot too. People don't have to answer the height question but if people want to screen for various superficial things, let them do it - I know plenty of people who couldn't care less about the height but have other superficial preferences, so it will work out. People will learn from experience whether various things are a dealbreaker or not. Ghosting and such are done when someone isn't feeling it, and they're allowed to do so. There are bigger problems, from what your respondents say - particularly either obnoxious or inappropriate behavior.
